WEIGH-INS:15 minutes prior to each round 20% of the brackets will be
weighed.
This is by random draw. Wrestlers in brackets not weighed are subject to
a weight challenge by paying a $10 fee prior their second match.
Wrestlers must weigh with singlets on. If found to be more than 3 pounds
over bracket weight the wrestler is disqualified with no re-entry and
challenge fee returned.
CHECK IN: Check in at your assigned mat 15 minutes prior to session start
time
INSURANCE: Must have either a Nebraska Provisional or a full USA
Wrestling card
BRACKETS: Eight man brackets with challenge for true second. Round robin
format in any bracket with less than 6 wrestlers.
RULES: Grade 3-4, 15 second time limit on headlocks and ¾ Nelsons. Double
arm bar and guillotines are ruled potentially dangerous. Grades 3-6,
all periods begin in neutral position. Grades 7-8, wrestlers have
choice of position for 2nd & 3rd periods
FORMAT: Grades 3-6 have 60-second periods and 10 pt tech falls
Grades 7-8 have 90-second periods and 12 pt tech falls. All overtimes are
60-second with a 30-second tie breaker if necessary
GATE FEES: $5 each day for adults $3 each day for students Under 6 free
QUALIFICATION: You must have a 30% winning record. You must reside in
Nebraska
AWARDS: Place medals to top 4. Mytty Champion of Champions medal to
winner of match between adjacent bracket winners
SCORING: Clubs score on a 4-3-2-1 basis for 1st thru 4th. Add 1 bonus
point for Mytty match winners. Team plaques given to top 2 teams in all 5
classes
